Summary
In the fantasy fiction novel, Everyday written by David Levithan we meet A. A is a genderless, disembodied soul that inhabits a new body every single day. A is sixteen and can only inhabit those who are the same age, and never the same person twice. When A inhabits one's body, it can access their memories, control everything, and decide what happens. But A has always stuck to living out each day as the person A is hosting normally would.
Then, A becomes Justin. Justin is dating Rhiannon, a quiet and shy teenage girl. Immediately, A falls in love with her. After a few days, A decides to tell her about its life. She believes A after some hesitation. A begins to use the body it hosts each day to see her, no matter the risk. When A inhabits a boy named Nathan Daldry and leaves him on the side of the rode in his car, he believes he was possessed by the devil. Nathan tells his story to "Father Poole", which then tries to reach out to A.
A and Rhiannon's relationship experinces many ups and downs, and ultimately comes to an end because of how abnormal it looks to other people. They would never be able to make it work out in the future. A then finds out there could be more souls like itself, and has one last memorable night with Rhiannon before A begins its journey.

Quote
"I have to remind myself that normal people feel this way, too: The desire to take a moment and make it last forever. The desire to stay like this much longer than it will really last" (231).
To me, this quote is very relatable to any person. I think most people have all had at least one moment where they wanted it to last just a little while longer. Along with this, A wishes many of its moments with Rhiannon would last longer. I think people have this desire because they don't want to let go, or forget the feelings they felt in that point in time.

Argument
Ultimately, love is love and is one of the strongest feelings. The characters A, Rhiannon, Justin, Vic, and Dawn all displayed their own types of love throughout the novel. They all face obsticals and flaws in their relationships, but do whatever it takes to make the other person happy.
